10 Thought Tuesday

Here are my ten thoughts on the first day of September -
  1. I used to think Spring was my favorite season, but I am definitely beginning to be more of an Autumn girl. I love the change from summer to fall - the crispness in the air, watching the leaves begin to change and the cooler days. This inspires me to begin new projects, perhaps because it is chillier outside and I just want to nestle in for the winter?
  2. I started #30Lists today. What a great challenge. I like that it is 1 prompt a day and does not require a lot of time to design but that I get 30 days of being creative.
  3. I have started decorating a planner - LOVE!! I am having so much fun getting organized while getting to make the pages all fancy!! (Although I am not very busy so it is difficult to find things to actually plan) Still a new project that I am loving!!
  4. I am looking forward to my parents visit! It seems like so long ago that they were here last.
  5. I hope that we will be able to move to Reno soon. I am antsy to get back up among family and friends. Is it too early to start packing?? Although, the thought of packing up this house is daunting!
  6. Christmas is just around the corner!! My absolutely most favorite time of the year! I have a good start on all my Christmas projects. This year may be a mostly handmade Christmas. I am excited about the gifts I am making!!
  7. I am enjoying having some good books to read. I have never liked taking books out of the library because I hate giving them back, but it sure is nice to always have a book on hand to read!!
  8. I am hoping Amber and Isaiah are able to come down this weekend. I can never get enough of that sweet boy!
  9. I am concentrating on meal planning at the moment. I have figured out my first week of meals, and already I can feel how much easier meal prep is going to be. Having a plan (and getting the groceries beforehand) does make meal time a lot easier. Now I just have to find some new recipes to incorporate into the plan.
  10. So sad that I left my camera at Amber's house. It just means I will have to be brave and try and use my crappy phone camera more. My next phone upgrade is going to be determined by the quality of camera it has!! Kind of easier and more convenient to take pictures with my phone - and I may become addicted to Instagram at this rate.
